The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine sees the risks of filling the state budget in the second half of the year

“According to GKSU operational data, the General Fund of the State Budget in the first six months of 2019 was implemented with a deficit of UAH 6.8 billion. Thus, the government is trying to evenly finance spending throughout the year to avoid peak funding at the end of the year. In the first six months of the year, the special fund was reduced with a surplus of UAH 8.6 billion, ”the report said.

In the first five months, revenues grew 13% compared to last year, however, the budget still remains negative.
It is noted that as of July 1, the amount of funds in the Single Treasury Account amounted to 13 billion UAH (about 31.6 billion rubles), and in the currency accounts of the State Treasury – funds in the equivalent of 81.1 billion UAH (about 197.6 billion rubles).
This, according to the Ministry of Finance, is enough to continue to pay off the public debt.
It is also noted that in the second half of the current year there remain risks of revenue default, in particular, due to the small volume of imports.
