The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy scheduled an extraordinary meeting of the Parliament for July 11. On Monday, July 8, the politician wrote on his Twitter
“At the request of 150 people's deputies of Ukraine, I am convening an extraordinary plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at 14:15,” writes Parubiy.

It is not known exactly what the meeting will focus on, but earlier the head of the Verkhovna Rada called on the National Broadcasting Council and the Security Service of Ukraine to revoke the license of the Ukrainian television channel NewsOne, which intends to participate in a direct teleconference with the Russian channel Russia-1.
Earlier it became known that on July 12 at 18:00 between the studios of the channel "Russia-1" in Moscow and NewsOne in Kiev will be a teleconference. The presenters will be Maria Sittel and Andrey Malakhov from the Russian side, Elena Kirik with Vasily Golovanov from the Ukrainian side.
The NewsOne leadership explained that they consider it their journalistic duty to enter into such an open dialogue between the peoples of Ukraine and Russia and force the politicians who are now inactive to negotiate for peace.
