In Syria, the Wagnerites attempted to kill the deserter by removing the violence on VIDEO. Novaya Gazeta found one of them
Novaya Gazeta published a shocking video of the brutal murder and subsequent abuse of the corpse. According to preliminary data, the recording was made by mercenaries of PMC Wagner in Syria. The victim of Russian thugs was an Arab who escaped from the army of Bashar al-Assad.
The footage shows how a song with the words "I take off a heavy machine gun from my shoulders, shoot at my son, then shoot at my mother" several Russian-speaking fighters beat with a sledgehammer a man lying on the ground in civilian clothes with an Arabic appearance. Sadists try to prolong his torment and beat on the limbs. Supposedly, a severed human head lies nearby.
A two-minute video clip with these frames appeared on the Internet in the evening of June 30, 2017. Commentators have suggested that the video may include Wagner’s fighters stationed in Syria. In November 2019, a continuation of the story appeared on the Web – the next three parts of the video.
In the second video, the body of the man who was hit with a sledgehammer lies on the ground. A person unconscious or already dead. One of the soldiers, under the comments of colleagues, cuts off his head with a knife. It turns out badly. People around him cheer him up and help him with advice: "Cut it, come on (unprincipled) stronger! Come on, directly break the vertebrae! Give it with a shovel!"
Then the victim’s hands are chopped off with a sapper blade. “We need to leave the legs, we will hang them by the legs,” add torturers.
In the fourth part of the video, a decapitated body with severed hands and the inscription "For the Airborne Forces" on the stomach is hung upside down, doused with gasoline and burned. Participants continue to have fun with special cynicism, mentioning barbecue and fried ribs.
The Arab press managed to establish the identity of the deceased, the time and place of the massacre. According to Jesr Press, the murdered one is Mohammed Taha Ismail Al-Abdullah, also known as Hammadi Taha Al-Buta. He was born in 1986 in Deir ez-Zor. According to the publication, Hammadi left Syria during the war, worked in Lebanon at a brick factory, but returned in July 2017 and was mobilized to reserve the army of Bashar al-Assad. Then the man deserted, but he was caught, and then brutally killed in the Shair field in the Syrian province of Homs.
All participants in the massacre covered their faces. But one of them, holding a camera and probably shooting a video, did not manage to wind an arafat scarf on his head in the first frames. And by the end of the shooting, he completely “relaxed”. “Well, all the same, this video will not go anywhere,” one of the mercenaries remarked. After that, the man with the camera lowered the arafatka.
Employees of Novaya Gazeta uploaded the face image of the alleged accomplice of violence through the FindClone service, which allows you to find a photo of a person on the VKontakte social network. With the first links, the program displayed an image of the same man on the pages of several users.
Despite the fact that the photos were not signed, and some pages were deleted, the journalists managed to find out the alleged first name, last name and date of birth. And it was this particular man, Stanislav D., who was found among famous mercenaries whose membership in the "Wagner group" was documented. Journalists do not disclose the surname of the Wagnerian for the safety of his family members.
It is known that in the "Wagner group" Stanislav D. served in intelligence. The newspaper has at its disposal a copy of his passport, a personally filled out application form for the security service of the “Wagner Group”, a non-disclosure note and an autobiography.
Upon entering the PMC service, D. indicated that he served as a private in a platoon of police patrol service in the Stavropol Territory. The questionnaire was completed in February 2016. But, as indicated, by this time he was already working in the "Wagner group" as a reconnaissance shooter.
Other participants in the video will be able, if they wish, to establish an official investigation in Russia, Novaya Gazeta believes. The heroes of the video turned to each other, calling the callsigns "Pamir" and "Wolf". In addition, at the time of preparing the publication on the Internet, a photo appeared from the scene of the massacre, on which four mercenaries with open faces posing next to a suspended and mutilated corpse.
